I had their ham BBQ sandwich and it was so good. My girlfriend and I split the fried pickles which had bacon bits on it which was unique and very flavorful. The size of the pickles were also surprising because they were big and tasty. It has a nice atmosphere and if you go around the holidays you'll see some nice Christmas aesthetics. The service was also really good and fast with our waiting staff and servers checking on us frequently and bringing us our food quickly and efficiently. I will be returning with more people next time so they can know how awesome this place is.

We had an awesome first time here. Tucked away on Mt Washington it is clearly a diamond in the rough. Service was attentive and a fun. Seating inside and out and lots of TVs. Food was far above the level of “bar food” and music was great! Declan, Al and Ashley didn’t miss a beat in making tasty cocktails/shots and the kitchen was timely with hot food. If you like wings, they have a TON of delicious sounding flavors. We will be back - the menu has a lot of other awesome options. I wish this place existed when I lived on the mount.

A real locals hotspot. It was a cold day so we ordered two Irish coffees warm up a touch. They were great and topped with whipped cream. Ashley was spot on with excellent service. Their wing options are extensive. We ordered the black and gold and the Lou Q. The both have just the right amount of medium heat. The black and gold with peppery honey mustard (Steel town classic) lightly dipped in the ranch hits flawlessly. The Lou Q has a Big Easy blend of BBQ and Fiery Borboun that is unforgettable. Ashley made me a real nice smoky old fashioned with Blade and Bow bourbon. Their chilli is hearty and earthy we ordered it fully loaded. Fully loaded has sour cream, cheese, onion, jalapeño slices. Fantastic. We really enjoyed this spot. Highly recommend. Even if you walk here from the Duquesne incline like we did.

Excellent food and very attentive service. This restaurant has an extensive menu. I decided to branch out and order a French onion soup inspired pot roast sandwich, which was beyond delicious. The side of mac and cheese was also wonderful. My friend ordered wings and loved them. We were visiting from Buffalo, New York so we are quite picky about wings. The wing menu is extensive. The hostess and our two waitresses were phenomenal. Very fair prices. They had a great kids menu. I highly recommend visiting. And very conveniently located near the Duquesne Incline for tourists.

We came for the wings, which did not fail. An impressive variety of original sauces makes me want to come back and try some more. Others in our group tried other menu options and were equally pleased. They have a great all around menu from what we had. The outside seating is so nice if the weather accommodates, too!!

A Pittsburgh local recommended this spot. Food was super bomb, service was quick and bartenders were friendly. Low key mt wash vibe unlike downtown. I will definitely come back and recommend this place. wings, gravy fries, perogies, and cuban are all good.

Stopped by Bigham Tavern in Mount Washington for St. Patrick’s Day and it did not disappoint. The place was packed with great energy- everyone was clearly having a fantastic time. The music kept things lively, and with multiple TVs everywhere, it’s an awesome spot to catch a game while you’re there. The staff really stood out- super friendly and attentive bartenders and servers, even with how busy it was. I only came in for drinks this time, but I’d definitely come back to try more. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun, upbeat bar with a great atmosphere.

Great food, great atmosphere! Visited twice so far and plan to go back soon! Moving down to the area from up by Lake Erie and excited to have found a spot nearby that is chill with great food and drink specials. Food came out very fast both times even though they were busy each visit. Wednesday Wing night was definitely a must! Just know you can’t take any of the wings with you on this night so don’t get more than you can eat! Tons of flavors and our waitress was super nice and helpful!

Anytime we are in the Mount Washington area, we try to stop at Bigham Tavern. My husband spent many days there in his early 20s eating wings, and he pretty much funded their back patio himself with all of his contributions to that restaurant. So like I said anytime we are in the area we like to swing by and see where all of his hard earned money went to. As far as the food goes, their food is great bar food. Their wings are second to none. Be prepared to pay market price. We just went and bought 12 wings for $20.99. The wings are good quality, though meaty juicy worth it in my opinion. The black and gold sauce is super good. I also got their avocado toast while I was there. It was fine as far as avocado toast, but it wasn’t knocking my socks off. We went early so they only had a brunch menu at the time. Their brunch was good, but I definitely would recommend coming there for a lunch or dinner. We didn’t drink anything, but they had a good selection on their menu. Lots of draft beers and I saw some other girls drinking cocktails at a table nearby. They also had a nice section with a couch and a TV. It looked like a good place to watch the World Cup.

We’ve been loyal patrons of Bigham Tavern for years—it’s been our go-to spot to celebrate special moments with great food and drinks. So, it was only fitting that we had our wedding there! Pittsburgh brides, if you’re looking for a unique, intimate, and FUN venue that won’t break the bank, consider Bigham Tavern. There are plenty of venues in the area that will happily charge you $30,000 minimum for a cookie-cutter event where an extra napkin will cost you an additional $1K. But only Bigham can create a one-of-a-kind celebration with incredible food and drinks, beautiful decorations, and personalized planning. Dominique, their event coordinator, is in a league of her own. She was proactive, communicative, and professional. From the seating arrangements to the cookie table, she helped build my dream ceremony and reception from the ground up. Not only did she take the time and care to understand my vision, but she also handled all the little details to ensure the day went off without a hitch. She coordinated with our vendors, trained the staff, set up the space to my exact specifications, and kept our schedule of events on track. It’s been over a month since we got married, and our guests are still talking about how it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. They created such a warm, friendly space for our family and friends to enjoy themselves. They treated us like family and made sure to celebrate us like family. Forget overpriced, bland, and stuffy venues—have your special event at Bigham and enjoy the best food, drinks, service, and vibes in the Burgh. Thank you, Dominique and the entire Bigham team, for creating the wedding day of our dreams.
